Sony Mobile has announced its Xperia Z5 family comprising of the Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, and Z5 Premium smartphones at IFA in Berlin.
The Z5 premium is the world’s first 4K smartphone with 4X the resolution of Full HD display. The 4K is normally found on the Television sets. Sony has also boosted it camera which features 23MP, being the second from the well-known Nokia Lumia 1020 with 41MP. The Xperia Z5 Premium comes with a single-SIM, while the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact come with an option of single-SIM or dual-SIM.
The Z5 and Z5 Compact will launch in October, and the Xperia Z5 Premium from November. It’s still not known when these devices will be available in South Africa
